As it happens, the pill gave me heterosexuality as a little gift on the side. It was weird. It was fun. I'd never looked at boys in that way before, and suddenly it was all arses and shoulders, crotches, jaws. In lieu of hips and boobies and cheeks and bellies. You know what I mean. Maybe. Depending on which pill you're taking -- and the so-called 4th Generation pills are often worse for the side-effects than the old-fashioned sorts -- you can expect your sex drive to start returning after six months or so. If this doesn't happen, you'd better ditch that bastard, because no girl of twenty or twenty-one -- or twenty-seven, for that matter -- should be without her libido for long. Sex is good, goddammit. And you should have it when you're young, although, you know, not just ANY old sex.
