Jan. 12th, 2011 07:03 pmOne does not "try and [do something]". One tries TO [do something], or tries to [do something] AND [does something else]. Unless one is playing rugby and also fantastic at multitasking.

So at least we know it's not a new mistake. It may not even technically be a "mistake" -- but it's still stupid.
