At long last, after planning to all year, I watched the movie "Spinal Tap" with Dana, Sally, Jamie, Tory and Liam. Faile was supposed to be there, too, but she had another commitment. I don't think she would have liked it much anyway, though. It's not really her kind of humor. I, however, was quite amused by the "rockumentary," and am very glad to finally have seen it. Also glad to spend time with the above-listed people. They're more fun than a cageful of bonzais.

In other news, the birthday package my sister's been bragging about for the last week arrived today. It was mostly funny little knick-knacks, including a bag of pink Barbie blow-out party things--fortunately not the noisemaking type--with which I have been obnoxious all afternoon. The best part, though, was a giant, neon green, hand-made card full of pictures of me as a little kid, replete with sisterly comments. It also said "happy birthday" in about 30 languages, including Klingon! Yes, she's awesome.
