In his language: Oh HAYUL no! Jay-Z and Glastonbury do not go together. At all. GREAT BRITAIN and Jay-Z do not go together! IT's like 1) they couldn't find, out of the whole continent, one native black rapper?? 2) Glastonbury HAS always had a tradition of ROCK, not hiphop. It's not racist, it's called genres. 3) Rock IS traditionally done by white people, and hiphop by black people, it's just what they seem to like. But INDIVIDUALLY, there are PLENTY of black rockers, white people that like rap etc etc. So that excuse for getting a rapper to "be black" is total bull. 4) If they were so keen on a black guy, why didn't they get Bloc Party? Their lead is as "black" as you can get - his name is Kele Okereke for god's sake! - and he actually does rock!

And okay, it's nice that Obama might be the 1st black president. whoopty doo. If we truly weren't racist, we wouldn't be looking at that so closely, and lumping him together with all these OTHER "Black People" like Jay-Z, who couldn't be LESS like Obama even if he was white!

in short: I heartily agree.
