I've been irritatingly morose lately. I don't even know why--except that I do. There are about a hundred whys, and each one taken individually makes me feel a bit silly for reacting to it as I am, or have. But the constant, steady trickle and flow of them is taxing.

I'm sorry I've been so snappish recently.
