Bang, bang, Maxwell's silver hammer came down upon her head
I've figured out the timing of my work to make it not only doable, but even give me a chance to have fun at the St Andrews Day Ceilidh on Thursday, and whichever of 3 birthday parties I manage to get to on Friday. Unfortunately, this only works if I actually do the work, and I can't seem to concentrate (as per usual). I've pretty much mentally checked out of Mediaeval History. That is the most boring freaking course ever. So, to further my procrastination, here is a survey thing ganked from my Anti-Me (sorry, I don't know how to do the journal link thing):
1. I've come to realize that my ex... may actually be better emotionally-adjusted than I am. Scary thought.
2. I am listening to... Abbey Road! Favourite album at the moment.
3. I talk... a lot of crap.
4. I love... good company.
5. My best friends... have been pretty distant recently, in more senses than one.
6. My first real kiss... was sweet and innocent.
7. I lost my virginity... and haven't gone looking for it since. [nice one, Sarah]
8. I hate it when people... mess up the recycling--leaving lids on, putting rubbish in the boxes, etc.
9. Love is... pain.
10. Marriage is... a civil right which should be available to couples of any sexuality.
11. Somewhere, someone is thinking... "WTF, mate? ^^"
12 is confusing, and probably an inside joke.
13. I have a secret crush on... Someone. But if I told you, it wouldn't be much of a secret now, would it?
14. The last time I cried was because... I got over-emotional reading a soldier's letter for my WWI gobbet. Haven't quite got that 'scholarly detachment' thing down yet.
15. My cell phone... Nokia 1100: the most craptastical phone ever. I love it. I'm in the Facebook group.
16. When I wake up in the morning... I have a major battle of wills with my limbs to try to make them propel me out of my bed. They usually win.
17. Before I go to sleep at night... I toss and turn for a few hours. Insomnia's a bitch.
18. Right now I am thinking about... How to get ahold of a copy of Eyes on the Prize for my next gobbet.
